Of course she’s right on the mark. Let’s have that “trade war”, but make damned sure we win.
No pain, no gain! It will eventually settle out. This is an economic “intervention” that is long overdue! It will be like turning around a crack head! It will take time to ramp-up these industries again where they used to be, while weaning this country from cheap quality foreign goods that undercut the workers/companies of this great nation.
Where is the gain for those paying more? Where is the gain for those who lose their jobs as a result of the trade war? For all but a handful of people I only see pain.

So you really think that all those jobs will come flowing back and the people of the U.S. will gladly pay the much higher prices for American made goods? Really?
