McCain career shows feeble mind.
Which is a shame because back in his flight days he was definitely one of the good guys. I recently saw an interview with him back in the day where he strongly criticized the Johnson war methods particularly with regard to Rolling Thunder. He said the targeting was micro-managed all the way from the White House and pilots often had to bomb the same targets over and over again even after they were already totally destroyed and that pilots had no leeway not even on approach paths and time-of-day so the Jane Fonda anti-aircraft and SAM crews knew when and where to expect them every day. He was very lucid on that subject and very angry.
Too bad he went insane during his Senate career.
I’m sorry this man is ill but he really should do the right thing and resign and let a real conservative to work for the people of AZ. Why do all these politicians refuse to see reality and grip power like it’s the only thing that matters.
OK so Arizona law says that for a senate vacancy the governor appoints a replacement who serves until the next general election this November. Does the vacancy have to occur a specific period of time before the November election? If the vacancy occurred two weeks from now, that would allow for plenty of time to select candidates for November. But what if McCain died in mid-October? There is no way that candidates could be selected and be on the ballot by Election Day. Does the governor then appoint someone who serves until 2020 and then an election is held for the final two years of the McCain term?
HELL NO it isn’t!

So he’s in a wheelchair i just spent 3 months in a wheelchair because i lost a leg im not weak i had kidney cancer 5 years ago the day after the operation i was walking i think it just depends on the person mccain has already lived through hell maybe his body needs the rest !
This past week, I had a relative go on hospice (lung cancer) & someone I know died (esophageal tumor that metastasized to liver and brain). McCain isn’t coming back to DC alive & his final days won’t be pleasant. His goal is to die in office, as Ted Kennedy did. Doing the ‘right thing’ for America, including resigning their Senate seats when terminally ill, was never a concern for either of them.
Why don’t these guys ever get the hint that its time to go. Most people would be happy to retire at age 65 or 70 to be with their families in retirement. If the Senate were more like a real job, perhaps the McCains of the Senate (McCain, Cochran) would go.
Who wants to bet that McCain’s daughter will try to take his place in the senate. She’s been coming across like a solid conservative lately...like he’s always done when he’s running right before an election.
I have March 15.
The McCain name carried a lot of weight in the Navy.

I never thought I would feel the exact same sentiments that you stated about any human. But I DO about him.
