Conservative commentator Mark Levin said the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court should be eliminated.
“It’s time to abolish the FISA court,” Levin said Thursday evening on Fox News. “It’s time to create a new counterintelligence-related court. It should not consist of existing federal judges," he added, before listing off other changes he would like to see.
Levin criticized the judges and said the his organization, the Landmark Legal Foundation, has urged FISA court Judge Rosemary Collyer to “do something” about “alleged abuses” from the Justice Department and the FBI. Collyer reportedly said there is “no matter pending before the court with respect to which such an appearance would be proper” in response to Levin.
"This FISA judge ... was misdirected," Levin said. "[Courts] have the power to reach back and hold people accountable [for contempt]."
He said he was disheartened that FISA judges have been behaving “like they have no role” in the investigation.
"Something smells like a rat," Levin said.

Mark should understand that once a federal agency or court or group is created, it is never abolished. It is with us forever.
If the FISC is corrupt, and it appears that’s the case, then it must be dissolved.
Oh well. No court "is perfect".
Of course he is right. Far more likely that the judges are in on it than just misled. If misled, they would already have had Comey’s head on a platter.

By “smell a rat” Levin is saying the Judges are corrupt ideologues.
Safe rule : If Mark calls for it that means it will NEVER happen.
I honestly believe that the same current FISA judges were communists left Democrat judges. Levin is right in dumping the current system and rebuild.
When the FISA court was created we (conservatives) tried to warn people that this is EXACTLY the type of abuse that would happen.
Add FISA to the list of agencies/bodies to be terminated!

That’s what I think. We don’t need SECRET courts, secret unelected judges; no lawyers or even voice for the accused. It’s all too Marxist. Out they go.

We don’t need a FISA court at all. Any federal judge can issue a warrant.
He should have stopped at “It’s time to abolish the FISA court.
If said judge approving Trump surveillance warrants does not issue a bench warrant for every party who presented false or manufactured evidence befpre the court immediately, the FISA court needs scrapping and the judge belongs behind bars.

Yep - no stand-alone entity should have that sort of power.
Maybe the Pres and Chief Justice should have to sign off on each one of them
