Actually, what I think he said was that Cruz should have had his guns taken away and worry about the legalities afterwards.
Crazies. Criminals. He was talking about them.
I think any bill that says that someone who is sent to an alternative school or removed from a school for behavior, as Cruz was, should lose their 2A rights until at least their 21st birthday will have broad, bipartisan support.
I want to know who, exactly, gets to decide who and what, is “crazy”.
“Crazies. Criminals. He was talking about them.”
Are still entitled to due process.
As a cop told Chris Plante this morning, the police already have discretion to take guns in situations of immediate danger to persons. Beyond that there is due process for less immediate threats. The laws are there and the cop who called in could not think of any news that he would need.
Please define “crazy”.
Then, please tell us who will decide who is “crazy”.
Finally, please describe the process you think said person/entity should use to determine when someone is “crazy”.
“Crazies. Criminals. He was talking about them.”
I must have missed the section of the Constitution that excludes these “crazies” from due process. Care to enlighten me/us?
