David Hogg, a survivor of the Parkland, Florida high school shooting, told Morning Joe on Monday that he thinks Gov. Rick Scott should be “held accountable” for the failure of three sheriff’s deputies to confront the gunman.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to news outlets that three deputies from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office remained outside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High as the shooter opened fire, eventually killing 17 people.
Hogg, appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, said the news is “raising concern” in his community, before accusing elected officials of attempting the blame the shooting on “bureaucracy.”
“They’re in charge of them,” Hogg said of those elected officials. “This is their fault.”
“They should have been regulating them,” he continued. “I’m not going to allow them to pressure these people because at the end of the day it’s their fault. These elected officials are the boss of these sheriff personnel and just like the president is the boss of the FBI, Governor Rick Scott is essentially the boss of Scott Israel, the sheriff, and as such he should be held accountable.
“He can’t just blame this on the bureaucracy and expect to get re-elected.” Hogg went on to praise high school football coach Aaron Feis, who died shielding students from the gunman, “unlike those cowardly Broward County Sheriff officials.”
“Sadly, these are a few individuals that did not conduct their job correctly, but I don’t think it’s right that Governor Rick Scott is trying to blame this on the bureaucracy in an effort to get reelected.”

Not how it is run, day to day, except as regards the Laws of Florida. That is- a corrupt sheriff can be removed from office by the governor (State Constitution), and a replacement appointed. This sheriff is corrupt, politically (and it involves preferential appointment/promotion for political types in his department- to include queers who are in charge of the response teams for school emergencies). One thing for sure— this little twerp Hogg does not want an examination of the operations of the democrat police/doper machine in Broward, and for a whole lot of other reasons, to include the mob (mafia, jewish and other) who live in and run the county- Florida being an “open” state mob wise.

You need to review FL law FRiend, for you are wrong. The governor, with signoff by the AG, can suspend a sheriff, just like that— for corruption, proven incompetence, malfeasance-financial or otherwise. This governor has already done this with a panhandle county sheriff who was/is a paid off drug cartel lackey. It happened. As for orange county’s muslim black sttyate’s attorney (there are many SAs there btw) Scott took off the OPD sergeant’s murder case, when she was not going to seek the death for one of her muzzie gang political supporters. His own AG is going to fire her. Can’t have that kind of crap going on in Mickey Mouse land.

So, the question really is— who or what was this little twerps father as an FBI “agent”— because one who chooses to “retire” young to Broward would have to have a job ready in the “private” and sector of “union-land” and retired federal corrupto-democrats. Broward being the headquarters for the US retirement zone for our mafia (active and retired labor leaders- like AFL-CIO, longshoremen, UMW, UAW, CWA,- this is where their pension funds are invested in condo communities with special arangements for the retirement homes for their thugs).
Broward with it’s corrupt Elections supervisor, and predecessor- who managed the vote count to be padded, electronically against Col. Allen West. THAT county. And a sheriff who has famously stacked his department with his pals from Lauderdale, and other bent members of his political past. He is going to be suspended. The FL Senate can vote and House can confirm, and AG can do it.

There is a provision in Florida's constitution that allows a governor to do precisely that, and over 70 state legislators signed a letter to Rick Scott reminding him of that fact.

What an absolute, repulsive turd this kid is. How is the governor supposed to know ahead of time that the police would screw up? How is he supposed to know the details of police calls to troubled homes? How is he supposed to know what the FBI is investigating, unless they tell him?

The obvious compromise is to meet them half way and take guns away from all Democrats.
The governor is NOT the sheriff’s boss.
