Early voting data from Texas is just bonkers. % change over 2014:

Democrats: 70% Republicans: 8%

This is the first midterm since 2006 when Democrats are casting more early ballots than Republicans.

(This is from the Texas SOS, and there are a couple of graphs present.)

I've been posting articles on here of the losses, and so far, we've lost 35 seats. That, plus this, SHOULD NOT be swept under the rug. The Democrats are more motivated, but we have to look at how independents are voting. We have to look at why Republicans are staying home. We have to look at if Republicans have switched to Democrat too. We have to look at all of it. What are they angry about, happy about, etc. Maybe they will show up on election day, but this hasn't happened in 12 years. Complacency puts Nancy in the Speakers chair.

Early voting for what? The primaries? The Democrats have a competitive primary in two major statewide races - the gubernatorial election and U.S. Senate - while the GOP does not with its two incumbents.

Complacency puts anyone who is not a hard left Democrat in a consecration camp.

The Democrat voter fraud will be epic for the next few years.

They will be brazen. They are fearless.

Agreed. Plus we’re approaching the midterms which won’t necessarily bring out the popular Trump support.

Midterms are about grass-roots, the base.

The polls are so baffling to me. How can he be at 50% and going up in one poll, and then drop 3 and be at 37% in the Gallup poll? It’s crazy because obviously they aren’t both right.

Yup. It’s do or die time for the rats. They were so close with hillary rotten clinton. One election away from never having to worrying about elections again. They’re not going to let Trump deport their voters or take away their ill gotten gains without a messy fight.

I voted today. It's a primary. The Rep count on the 2 boxes was about twice what the Dem was. Dems here show up on vote day, not early voting. Don't ask me why. I don't see any change where I live in Texas. Gun control, more money in pocket, baby killers, LGBTJKMSRE, bathroom freaks. flag burners, What possible reason would anyone vote Dem?

Austin, Dallas, Houston, & San Antonio will go Dem, but that's usual. I live in a small town in East Texas. I bet we don't have 300 Dems out of 3000. How can you vote Dem and own 30 guns? Even a Dem has 5 guns. We have more preepers than the 1st Baptist church has members. If these numbers are correct, it's a small area. I know Austin is as queer as San Francisco, but the small town country folk outnumber the big cities.

This is why the GOP should have acted on its agenda as soon as it controlled all three branches.

It can never assume that it will ever have that opportunity again, and it most probably will not, because the GOP is utterly full of sh!t, a total fraud, and has given no one a reason to vote for it at all.

All it has done since 2016 is demonstrate in no uncertain terms that its entire platform is a pack of lies.

I really don’t know what to say about the future, other than the GOP is not going to save us, ever.

If we want to be free of leftists, that is going to have to be achieved by some other far less pretty means than elections.

Those 4 coward cops that didn’t go into the school... that’s the GOP. They don’t care about our freedom.

It’s going to come down to us defending it ourselves, if you get my drift.

Good post. The GOP, the party of bush, deliberately stalled and torpedoed the Trump agenda. Couple that with the actions of that rat bastard Jeff Sessions and the Repuki party killed any momentum Trump had right out of the gate.

Yeah they killed his momentum alright, and also killed themselves in the process, but they don’t care, because they were never actually alive. All they have ever been is an illusion, and that is what they want to go back to being.

My guess is the GOP is about to disappear.

So you are saying we have lost 35 US House of Rep Seats in one year without a general election?

Advice to Repubicans: Back your President, be conservative, get tough on the border, above all do the right thing for the people and keep your zipper zipped up. I know, I’m dreaming.
