1. How did they know this wasn't part of the ACTIVE SHOOTER DRILL that had been conducted earlier that day ?
2. The fire alarms go off and all the kids are coming out of the buildings.
3. There is gunfire. Again, is it real or part of the test ?
4. If there is real shooting, the regular patrolmen are to secure a position and wait for SWAT. This is true in most of the country.
Active shooter drills do not use gunfire.

I also appreciate the mention of policy across most of the U. S. regarding secure and wait for Swat.
That sure puts the Sheriff’s comments in a strange light. His comments were almost shocking to me.
