The Authorities’ Parkland Failures Get Worse and Worse
Powerline ^ | Feburary 23,2018 | John Hinderaker

I’m normally slow to criticize law enforcement, but this is ridiculous. In addition to the FBI’s already well-publicized failure to follow up when a YouTube video producer alerted the bureau to a comment by Nikolas Cruz about wanting to be a school shooter, we have this, courtesy of Ed Driscoll of InstaPundit:

“I don’t know how he got the debit card, but he did,” she said. “And he took it, and he bought all these rifles and ammunition and he posted pictures of them on the Instagram.”

Another of the woman’s stunning revelations: Cruz was obsessed with ISIS.

“He’s so into ISIS and, um, I’m afraid this is so something’s gonna happen,” she said, describing how Cruz would post pictures of himself dressed up as an Islamic terrorist. She also recounted how Cruz would frequently post pictures of himself donning a “Make America Great Again” cap.

The caller provided the agent with usernames for two of Cruz’s social media accounts, encouraging the FBI to comb through the pages.

“It’s alarming to see these pictures and to know what he’s capable of doing and what could happen,” she said. “He’s [been] thrown out of all these schools because he would pick up a chair and just throw it at somebody, a teacher or a student, because he didn’t like the way they were talking to him.”

The woman said she phoned in because she “wanted a clear conscience if he takes off and, and just starts shooting places up.”

Rest of article

At Hot Air, John Sexton links to a Wall Street Journal article that notes, “The caller described disturbing behavior by Mr. Cruz, including a propensity for cutting up frogs and, at least on one occasion, a bird.” Sexton adds, “He actually brought the bird into the kitchen and cut it up with a knife, reportedly saying, ‘I want to see what’s inside.’ The caller, who is only identified as a woman close to Cruz, also provided the FBI with Cruz’s various social media accounts so they could see for themselves what he was saying online. Obviously, this should have led the FBI to connect his YouTube account (username Nikolas Cruz) and the previous threat about becoming a school shooter.”

* username Nikolas Cruz *

Well, I could see how that might be difficult to figure out.

We had to dissect a frog in Biology class in hs but we didn't have to kill it. I don't remember if we could have opted out.

That was the year of our bug collecting. I loved romping in places where bugs would be found and found many, killed them, then classified them and neatly mounted them on something, didn't have a glass case like you see for butterfly specimens.

After my mother's friend brought me a walking stick from their cabin and I chloroformed it and watched it die, my conscience was stricken watching that magnificent thing struggle. But I got an A on my collection.

One more incident, a beautiful butterfly, I let go and never wanted to "collect" specimens again. I did kill an awful lot of Japanese Beetles. I don't want to mess with them any more but wish they could be eradicated in the US as they are non-native with no natural predators. Maybe a few chickens and turkeys is all I know.

school had 2 FT cops plus 5 FT security guards

PLUS the 30 local cops who arrived within ‚minutes’ simply cowered behind their vehicles with guns drawn looking tough & super heroic in their sunglasses.

Yet our governor decided to put some “common sense” gun regulations in place unilaterally. We deserve what we get.

Let me get this straight: Because the FBI and Broward County Sheriff Department couldn’t or wouldn’t do their jobs to prevent or stop the school shooter, 18, 19 and 20 year old law abiding citizens will be penalized? Shame on President Trump for beginning the process of ending gun rights in this country. Tell your Washington Senators and Reps to vote NO!

The Deep State / Global Cabal wants to DISARM the citizens, but first they need a really bad massacre with a gun. There are far too many so-called "failures" for this not to have been an INTENTIONAL, elaborate plan with the end goal of assaulting the 2nd Amendment.

The killer used his REAL name 'Nikolas Cruz' on a web post where he says he wants to be a "professional school shooter" and the FBI responds with "we couldn't verify the identity of the individual"??? ARE WE STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THAT? OF COURSE WE'RE NOT!!

I'm starting to think the Deep State has extraterrestrials posing as humans such as the Emma Gonzalez and David Hogg DRONES helping them with their suspiciously robotic talking points.

BTW, these two are not "SURVIVORS" as the media says.. THEY ARE WITNESSES but maybe even that's not true.

This is a LONG-TIME PLANNED operation orchestrated by the Deep State and their puppet media.

...The Authorities’ Parkland Failures Get Worse and Worse...

Impossible. It the fault of the AR15, the NRA, and gun owners in general.

Now we find out there were four deputies who hid behind their patrol cars and did not enter the building to help.
This smells to high heaven.

Don’t forget there are no consequences for much of the crime committed by those under 18 in Broward County.
Thanks to a deal brokered by Obama to keep black teens out of jail, murderers and thugs in training under 18 there are immune from prosecution for many crimes.

Thesee infractions and crims include -ALL STUDENT MISBEHAVIOR and these non-violent infractions:

1. Disrupting or Interfering with class
2. Fighting in a public place
3. Theft if less than $300
4. Vandalism damages < $1,000
5. Disorderly conduct
6. Trespassing, Loitering or Prowling
7. Criminal Mischief
8. Gambling
9. Harrassment or Threats
10. Alcohol -all related offenses
11. Possession of Cannabis
12. Possession of drug Paraphernalia
13. Obstructing Justice without Violence

I agree. I have been convinced for some time now that all of these "mass" shootings are basically the same.

A bunch of innocent people get killed in a Gun Free Zone and no one saw it coming. The law enforcement and investigative authorities (FBI, state and local police and sheriffs) fall down on the job. The perpetrator is either killed or is an obvious nut job.

And most importantly, in my judgment, is the immediate shift in the national dialogue to gun control and so-called gun "safety"(like a mass shooter somehow needs a safety class in firearms) and rage towards the NRA, usually by the same predictable liberal, democRATS players.

Each occurrence seems to escalate the "conversation" on guns towards a more and more hyper level.

And then almost as fast as it occurred, the news will move on to something else and the drive to "do something" dissipates. The outcry over the deaths and guns eventually fades and quiets down.

Wash, rinse and repeat. It's the same for each one, whether it occurs at a school, a rock concert, a movie theater, a night club, a mall or an Army base, it doesn't matter. The same cycle occurs.

So I ask myself, why would this be the case? Where all of these events are almost choreographed to play out and support a narrative? Who would benefit from something like this?

The only answer is that these are planned events and they are choreographed and all end at the same place---"We need to do something about guns!" The Left is using these events, like Fast and Furious", to eventually justify banning guns in America. This is their long-term agenda. They are the only ones to benefit from the mass killings. Mere collateral damage by the Left. The ends justify the means. For politics and power.

These events aren't random events perpetrated by random crazy souls. They all fit too well into the narrative playbook. The Deep State cabal with the whimpering, compliant media promoting it, are behind this agenda.

I can just see a Soros-type character playing the whole thing out like a puppeteer.

By the time the cops got there it had gone from a hostage situation to a hostage rescue situation. They did not have a clue what to do. Only Special Forces or a Seal Team or IDF would know what to do. The best thing to do is first harden the building full of a target rich environment. Make hostage rescue a last resort option.
