I just did a search for that (Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, OR). I couldn’t find anything about anything after the shooting. In articles just a few days after the shooting it did say the the campus policy is no knives, guns, drugs, etc. HOWEVER, the state policy is that anybody with a concealed carry permit IS allowed onto campuses - and that it is legal - no matter what the school says.

Several students that had their weapons on them were in another building, but were persuaded to not run over to the other building to confront the shooter.

One guy, Army vet Chris Mintz was shot 5 times (survived) as he blocked a doorway and told the shooter that he wasn’t getting into the class room (full of students). Too bad that Mintz hadn’t had a weapon on him.
