I doubt it. She likely knows absolutely nothing about firearms themselves. When I read it, it just reeks of everything coming from the Left on this subject.

Yeah, the good doctor doesn’t know what he’s talking about. In fact, the 5.56mm/.223 cal round is illegal for deer hunting in several states due to it lacking the knock down power to kill deer and other large game. Also, the US Military is doing research to develop a new caliber and cartridge design because new technology body armor can defeat the 5.56 round. They’re searching for something bigger but not as large and heavy as the NATO 7.62mm round.
