If a government can pass a law that you must be 21 to buy a gun, could they not also pass a law that you can buy a gun at age 10?

Saying you have to be 21 is no different than saying you have to be 18. Neither
of the restrictions are in the Constitution. If you’re upset over the age being set at 21, you should be upset at the age being set at 18.

I'm not upset by it. I was just asking.

My first presidential vote was for President Nixon's second term and I had to wait until I was 21 to vote. (I cried in the stairwell at work when he resigned.)

They lowered the voting age because if boys were being drafted for VietNam, then they surely should be allowed to vote.

All more than you needed to know, lol.

18 is adulthood age. A logical age to allow full rights. 21 is arbitrary. Drinking at 21 is stupid too. I don’t know a single person who did not drink between 18 and 21. Scott just cooked his goose.
