Sheriff Scott Israel said Deputy Scot Peterson should have “went in. Addressed the killer. Killed the killer.”
Peterson, 54, came under scrutiny after 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz entered the school with an AR-15 rifle and killed 14 students and three educators on Valentine’s Day.

According to what I’m hearing, the ARMED security man was right outside the building where the shooting was occurring, and he just stood there, and never went in to confront the shooter.

Amazing and sad. I guess he was waiting for backup. And the backup waited for more backup. And when they came, they decided to use the security system, which had a 20 minute delay that allowed the killer to leave the premises. On and on and on and on. And the kids are mad at the NRA. Amazing and sad.
Time to burn this spineless asshole then.

Hearing the armed SRO stood for about 4 minutes, outside the building where the shooting was happening.
