I don’t understand kicking someone out because they’ve “undeployable”. Why not just MAKE them “deployable”!
Seems like that plan could present danger to other troops? How do you MAKE them “deployable” without endangering qualified troops?
As to Mattis’ recommendations, maybe they should just pay the known/existing transgender military members out to the end of their enlistment commitment, and let them go. ? Might cost us much less, in the long run, than paying for all of their medical care, hormones, surgeries, and disability stints.
