The few sound bites I’ve heard from the event were absolutely disgusting. Yes, real thought inspiration and reaching across the aisle in good faith to explore options and mutual ground.
“You heard that town hall last night, they cheered the confiscation of firearms,” Loesch told conservatives at CPAC the next morning. “And it was over 5K people. I had to have a security detail to get out. I wouldn’t have been able to exit that if I did not have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming burn her. And I came there to talk solutions.”
I admired Ms. Loesch and Mr. Rubio for showing up.
I was actually afraid for their personal safety when the insults and abuse started. Tapper just stood there and let it all happen. This was done just for ratings and to exploit grieving families.
I look at it differently... it was a great opportunity for CNN to show us all once again that they have a perverted agenda which is why no one listens to them anymore, it was a great chance for the left to show how they continually overplay their hand on this issue (and how clearly nutty they are), it was a great opportunity for the Broward County sheriff to show us all what a despicable piece of trash he is..... and it was a great opportunity to watch the great Dana handle them with ease and with one hand tied behind her back.
