Lindsey Vonn is a fierce competitor and a great champion skier, and by all accounts she is a good sportsman and a very nice person. I do not wish ill for her. That said, she provoked a backlash and I’ll bet she wishes she could take back her angry words against the president. Vonn had the entire country on her side until she chose to offend half its people. Shut up and ski, indeed.
I am not sure she would want to take back her words. She likely wants to have her cake and eat it too, but that isn’t going to happen today!

Of course she has a right to speak her mind. All she had to say was that she disagreed with the President, but represents all Americans regardless of their view. But no, she had to try and diss the President and virtue signal. Words have consequences. Go make a commercial Lindsay.
