Yep. Some of the richest people in Mexico are descended from Maronite Christians from Lebanon who fled to Mexico because they did not want to get drafted into the Turkish army during World War I. That is how Salma Hayek and Carlos Slim (Salim) got there names. They don’t have a drop of indian blood.
