Many people believe their lies, hook, line, and sinker. When you advise them they have been misinformed they become angry. Their anger is directed not at the liars, but at he who points out how they have been duped. The can not admit they were wrong. If a liberal admits he is wrong...even once... his whole narritive goes out the window. He would have to aknowledge the flaws in his thinking. He simply can not do that.
Yup. I believe it was Mark Twain that said: “A lie can be half way around the world before the truth can get it’s pants on.” Something like that.
