Of course it does. The black market for guns thrives. Remember when our government tried to outlaw booze??? How did that work out?? Who made out?? Criminals made out. The pols politicized their ridiculous efforts and laws and the underworld profited. That sure sounds familiar....

How’s the War On Drugs working out? Draconian punishment for drug abuse hasn’t stemmed the flood of illegal drugs into the country.
