Did you know that the Russian trolling during the 2016 election was so horrible and transformative that it compares to...the attack upon Pearl Harbor? While you chuckle over that observation, keep in mind that the absurd comparison was made by Karen Tumulty of the Washington Post.
Tumulty's hostility towards the president comes out in the very title of her laughable February 18 premise, We’ve just hit a new presidential low:

As a young sailor fresh out of high school, ,my father was stationed at Pearl Harbor in 12-7-1941. He was there when the bombs rained down on him and his fellow servicemen, killing thousands and wounding so many more.

One of the things that was used to needle Hillary was her drumbeat for war with Russia, the mocking ads “shutup and go to war son, mommy needs her female president” rather pointedly made light of it.
I’d say that Hillary, Obama and co had planned the “russia russia russia” narrative from the beginning.
I’m also willing to bet that they were stupid enough to actually go to war with Russia in hopes of heading off any inquiries into uranium 1 etc if Hill had actually gotten in office.

Karen Tumulty’s thirst for shame knows no bounds. The lack of any comparable damage between the two events has been pointed out by many. Ok, but are they comparable as “sneak attacks”? No, absolutely not. The whole Russian Troll Farm story was told by a Russian journalist in an online business magazine before the election, and Radio Free Europe covered it as well in something like 2015. This was reported in a big greasy newspaper yesterday — the WAPO. WAPO editors don’t read their own paper?
The CIA and other IC entities have divisions that read open source information constantly. Why did the US IC fail to catch this Russian social media “threat” unfolding pre-election? They only had YEARS of notice. One day the public is going to realize how worthless all these trillion$ operations really are.
