On Sunday’s “Face the Nation,” Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chairman John Podesta was rattled after CBS host Nancy Cordes asked him how the Russians knew to focus on Michigan and Wisconsin and Hillary didn’t.
BRUTAL.
Nancy Cordes referenced Robert Mueller’s indictment which revealed the Russians targeted swing states such as Michigan and Wisconsin for their disinformation campaign.
“But it does beg the question, how is it that these Russian operatives knew to focus on purple states like Michigan and Wisconsin and your campaign didn’t?” Nancy Cordes asked.
Podesta was visibly flustered.
Cordes quickly shot back and said, “Hillary Clinton herself did not spend much time in those states.”
Podesta was stunned at the push back and stammered his way through his talking points.
“We had Tim Kaine was there, Barack Obama and she spent enormous time in Pennsylvania and Michigan,” Podesta said.
Podesta then said Hillary Clinton had more staff in Wisconsin than Obama did in 2012. Wow what a pathetic argument.
The bottom line is Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate and she only went to Wisconsin AFTER the election to peddle her book of excuses ‘What Happened’.
Hillary Clinton was too busy rubbing elbows with celebrities and elites on either coast to bother with Wisconsin.
President Trump however, visited Wisconsin several times during the election; he earned their votes.

I think you are right. As much as I loathe Bubba I’ll readily admit that he is an exceptionally astute politician, albeit an exceptionally amoral one.
I ran into a person I took as a Democrat operative of some sort near Pittsburgh. He was sitting in a restaurant looking through a big pile of newspaper articles about Trump from a clipping service. In response to a question of how things were going, he unhappily, “They gave him a billion dollars of free publicity.” That was early summer of 2016.
I think the local Democrat organization knew Hillary was in trouble way back. Thank G-d she was the smartest woman in the world. /smirk

Back in her Arkansas days she was supposed to host a campaign event in “ grass roots” Arkansas
She was chauffeured out to event and when she got out of the vehicle she became furious screaming at the campaign coordinator something to the effect that her time was being wasted because there was no money there, just Hill Billy's and cow sh*t .
The last thing Hillary wants to do is rub shoulders with the rustics milking cows in Wisconsin dairy farms
I would have enjoyed if they had asked him about the Podesta Groups dealings with Russia, UFOs, and spirit cooking.

All her venues were either private fund raisers OR tiny audience with a Hispanic company or other minorities.
And then...finally...the last hurrah...Hollywood jumped out of the box in the last couple weeks.
One of those states miraculously came up with 20,000 “found” votes for Hillary at the tail end. Not quite enough. I think Trump won the state by about 4500 votes.
Close - they thought they had the entire election rigged, and she therefore didn't need to bother herself with campaigning, and mingling with the "little people" in fly-over country.
Her campaign managers knew that those states were close and that putting her on the ground there would turn off the middle of the road voters she needed to win. They gambled on sending in her surrogates and they lost.
It is the job of the MSM to propagandize for the deep state.
Just think of them as working folks just doing their job. :-)
"Face the Nation" is usually an exercise in how many ways a TV host can kiss the butt of a democrat...any democrat. I'm sure Podesta was shocked - but no where near as shocked as everydayAmericans in flyover... Good job Nancy Cordes - keep 'em guessing...
