When I hear liberals call for “common ground” on gun control, these same people would never countenance finding common ground on abortion.
We must make concessions on principle to them but they will fight tooth and nail against making concessions on principle to us.
Why on earth should we do that for people unwilling to meet us half way on things that matter to us?
