I don’t buy it ,,, they had to know something was not right with this boy . 39 encounters with the cops . Killing little animals , Threatening people , Fighting etc. . They are in CYA mode IMO .
Could be, but tbh they might not have known any of that. It depends on how well they knew him. Was it months, or years prior to taking him in, or was he a “stray” brought home as thus far just a school friend of their sons with a sob story sad enough for them to open their home to this relative stranger? But they allowed him access to his weapons, and even took him to counseling. So they had to know him pretty well, or thought they did. Otherwise, who would do that? We need more background info.
