Outgoing Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Fla.) said in an interview broadcast Sunday that it would be “foolish” for the GOP not to realize that it’s “heading into trouble” in the next election.
“When you look at the future of the Republican Party, I think that we would be foolish to not see that we’re heading into trouble,” Ros-Lehtinen told CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

The RINO GOPe cabal went south on us years ago For example, McConnell. For example, many people campaigned for mcShame and romney to try to stop the obama cabal. But they both threw the elections and attacked us, behaved shamefully since. They even didn’t repeal Obamacare. Still very little swamp draining.

I agree. We are in an extended process of draining the swamp though. We’ve found out that the FBI and some judges are corrupt. I mean it’s on the record. The FBI lied to get FISA warrants, and the judge couldn’t care less. Tell me what judge worth their salt ignores clear cases of perjury.
Trump has outed the media, RINO Senators, RINO Congressmen, Leftist media, bad judges... Our universities and K-12th grade schools are now more exposed than they have been before.
They have for the most part been identified. Now it’s time to start filing charges.
Exposing these people in public is the first thing. Now onward to doing something about it.
Get rid of McConnell, and I think we get much more of what we want. Ryan is suspect as well.

Without Money, the Rats Are SOL. The problem, if there is one, won’t manifest itself until the following cycle, and the economic reforms from the Trump Tax Cut, especially dropping the Corp Inc Tax to entice offshore investors back home is already kicking in.

I suspect that the Republican voters define conservatism very differently than the politicians define conservatism. Very few of them are conservative. Very few of them grandstand on conservative policies. Most of them hide in the bowels of entitlement and corruption. Very few of them are concerned with expanding the party. Very few of them fight when faced with opposition. Very few of them listen to the voters. In other words, it is much worse than a RINO problem, it is a sh**hole full of self serving narcissistic criminals.

That area of Florida is solidly Dem. It’s also the area where a lot of shenanigans have occurred with absentee ballots.
I wonder what her voting record looks like. That area has also had an influx of Puerto Ricans migrate into the area after the recent hurricane. Maybe she has seen the writing on the wall.

supervisor and a life long bookkeeper/accounting person, I don’t see any problem with the 2018 elections.
Someone on the Dem side hasn’t figured out yet that those tax cuts & larger paychecks that are being issued timely are being issued to Democrat voters as well as Republican voters.
I am betting that those larger paychecks & more stability in the companies they work for will sway many of them to actually vote for Trump & GOP in 2018.
A puzzle to me that Pelosi keeps demeaning the recipients of those bonuses-—I am sure they were NOT just issued to Republicans. I am pretty darn sure Democrat voters got some of those bonuses, also.
Mitch’s plan will be his own nightmare before it becomes Trump. Just the way everything has worked out so far.

I still can’t explain some factors like union members gleefully backing their labor unions leaders in their support of cheap labor from foreign nations.
I have a family member that thinks California is really screwed up. I mentioned that the California Legislature has been in the Democrats control for over half a century. I asked, so who do you think is the party harming California the most?
They responded the Republicans.
It’s a union member, and they really listen to the union leadership.

House cleaning I thought would already have been done ( at least insofar as the executive branch). A little bit happened yes but a drop in the bucket when you consider getting rid of even just the obama plants, moles, enemy agents. Not to mention the seditious krap that accumulated from prior too, like inside the snake dept, etc We will see. We will see. I hope your optimism proves out!
I have seats in the same section you’re in, and from here I can’t tell if some folks are being given enough rope to hang themselves or not.
