34 U.S. Senate seats to be contested in 2018. The U.S. Senate has 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats (including two independents). The 2018 Senate election takes place on November 6, 2018. There are 34 seats up in 2018*, of which 26 are held by Democrats. This guy really really really needs to go. Get him out of the Majority leadership chair at once!

The President’s party usually loses seats in the midterm. I haven’t heard many people says Democrats would win back the Senate, just because it’s such an unfavorable year for them.
To: Kaslin
The Democrats will walk across broken glass to vote this fall. I don’t get that feeling from most of the Republicans. I get the feeling, in fact, that a lot of folks are more interested in dissing the GOP than getting people out to vote.
To: Kaslin
There is nothing more spineless on the face of the planet than the average GOP Senator.
To: Kaslin
So according to the story, McConnell said:
The odds are that we will lose seats, history tells you that.”
And the story editor puts up a headline that says:
“McConnell: Of course we’re going to lose seats.”

The #RESIST movement there is strong and Hillary carried the state easily.
Clinton 47.9%
Trump 45.5%
2.4 points is hardly carrying Nevada
easily. Obama carried Nevada
easily, by 12.4% (2008) and 6.6% (2012).

The only GOP Senator worth keeping that is up is Cruz.
We have the opportunity for pickups in WV, MO, MI and other states if the NRSC does not kneecap the GOP candidates like they have repeatedly in the past when their Bush League candidate lost the primary.

This time I think ol' Mitch is right. The Dems are seriously miffed that Hitlery lost. They thought it was in the bag, so they felt no need to get the dead out to vote. This time, though, the Dems will go all out and not only the dead will be voting for Dems everywhere, but so will illegals and fictitious people (multiple times!). It'll be a blowout.
I think Mitch is admitting that there's nothing he can do, or will do, to stop it.....
