Great Pollster John McLaughlin now has the GOP up in the Generic Congressional Ballot. Big gain over last 4 weeks. I guess people are loving the big Tax Cuts given them by the Republicans, the Cuts the Dems want to take away. We need more Republicans!

I really wish he wouldnt tout any polls. Still most polls have the RATS ahead, not that it matters.
I don’t understand this... McLaughlin has been showing Republicans ahead a LOT, unlike every other pollster... but he appears to be showing DEMOCRATS ahead now.
I read that when you add actual names , candidates the GOP does better.
But if the GOP falls short of top 2 spots in any local or statewide California primary race in June , there will be no GOP candidate in that race in November.
The Mid-Term could actually become a bigger blowout than the last General depending on how the stupid party plays its cards.
I assume you are talking about Romney - that’s a lost cause. His popularity in Utah is like 80%. If we are seriously going to waste time fretting about him running in Utah instead of focusing our attention on winnable races elsewhere, we will deserve to lose. Winning more races reduces Romney’s influence. Otherwise, Romney will essentially control the Senate if the majority is razor thin.
The reality is that Romney is going to be a Senator. So the work needs to be done to counter him being as much of a factor - we must win Missouri, West Virginia, North Dakota, Montana, Indiana. Those are the most winnable races. Also winnable are Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida - with much longer shots being Pennsylvania and the special election for the Franken seat in Minnesota. I believe we can hold on to Arizona - Nevada is more iffy.
well in the past Mitch supported RINOS, not really referring Romney. Not familiar with possible 2018 primary candidates and who is being supported.
I hope their states choose the best.
