The constant consternation strikes many as ridiculous. But others have become true believers – and have committed to not having children, not taking showers, de-carbonizing, de-industrializing and de-growing developed countries, shutting off oil pipelines, and other futile actions that bring no earthly benefits.

The true believers are voluntarily removing themselves from the gene pool. Whatever genetic traits lead them to be susceptible to fear-mongering, to pro-abortion and anti-people propaganda, etc., are being eliminated.

Spending trillions of dollars – and condemning billions of people to expensive, insufficient, unreliable, land and raw material gobbling wind, solar and biofuel energy – is not just unnecessary. It is immoral.

The fear-mongering about climate is just a means to an end. People never accepted socialism/communism for its face value. But tying the fate of the earth to communism--i.e. adopt communism or the entire planet goes kablooey--is a way to trick people who would never otherwise accept communism. Those who are so single-mindedly devoted to that goal are utterly blind or indifferent to the massive suffering that striving for that goal causes--just as they are in utter denial about what achieving their goal would mean for the people subjected to communism. Their belief that somehow, establishing communism will found a wonderful utopia for everyone disconnects them from the reality that they are the agents of untold misery.

It’s called insanity, according to Albert Einstein.
