FBI should completely shut down: Judicial Watch's Chris Farrell [February 16, 2018]
Fox Business ^ | February 16, 2018

Judicial Watch Director of Investigations Chris Farrell is calling for the complete abolishment of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) beginning with the resignation of its director, Christopher Wray, after failing to protect American citizens.

The law enforcement agency has come under scrutiny for becoming too politicized in the probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server and the Russian dossier that may have helped authorities obtain FISA warrants to conduct surveillance on Trump campaign officials.

“I would go back 200 years to the U.S. Marshal Service. I would create a new division for investigation and in about 6-8 months, I would shut the FBI down,” Farrell said during an interview on FOX Business “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”

When was the last time the FBI actually stopped a crime?

The fact is that it is a less than effective overgrown political bureaucracy.

It was a crooked organization under Hoover and it only seems to have become worse since.

What need is there for a national police force beyond the benefit of tyrants both political ones and bureaucratic ones on the seventh floor?

No kidding.

The Russians caused more havoc and discord in the United States with a couple bucks and some internet trolling than the Soviets did with the entire Cold War.

If only Khrushchev or Gorbachev knew they could have done more with a couple well placed news adds and a couple more bought and paid for reporters than he got from thousands of nuclear weapons he could never dare fire. They might have had the bankroll necessary to win the Cold War.

Lon Horiuchi shot Vicki Weaver while holding her baby when George H.W. Bush was President.
It was made worse with each successive President.

“It is disengenuous to solely blame the fbi, or call for a resignation when the entire system failed.”

Garbage. Blaming it on “the system” is just another way of not holding people accountable. Heads should roll.

“ALL of top management at the FBI needs to resign. They are disgusting.”

Yes. And don’t forget their accomplices, the unionized rank and file who stayed silent.

90 percent of what the fed gubbermint does is unconstitutional. It needs to be radically reduced by whatever means necessary.

Right now we have a 4 trillion dollar corrupt stasi state loyal to the left. The rabid lefty hillary voters that comprise the administrative state are in complete control. Let that sink in.

The FBI isn’t just useless, it’s dangerous. To support that contention one need only to remember the absolute failure to prevent the 9/11 attacks on NY. They had the pertinent info prior to the attack and did absolutely no forensic follow up investigation. The same with the Boston marithon bombers, the Southern California Muslim murders at the DMV Christmas party. Time to make a change, abolish this dangerously useless agency.

Good points — there's a pattern here, and it looks like it's giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the several states.

Going a little too far here, aren’t we? After all, they did take out that very dangerous Weaver woman and rescued the baby she was holding. /S

There’s clearly something wrong with a system where the FBI goes out and gets a warrant to conduct surveillance on Carter Page but doesn’t do the same thing when a mutant like Nikolas Cruz is posting violent threats all over the internet.

If the people are the problem then rebadging the agents from FBI to the Marshal Service solves what?

...”The FBI is little more than Obama’s political police. They’re were hoping they’d become Hillary’s political police, which is why they’re so upset.”...

I think an awfully lot of Americans agree with you. Everyone knows that once trust is lost, regaining it is almost impossible. I believe the FBI has lost our trust.

It is hard to imagine that all of the serious problems and threats coming from this young man were largely ignored by the authorities. Yes, the whole system failed to protect these children, our children. It was NOT the gun. At it’s core, it was a politically correct stance, now emblazoned upon every thing we and our most powerful institutions say and do, unless we are conservative. The “anything goes,” social media which allows everyone to be a “star” and to make threatening lethal gestures, has a major role in all of this, as well. Today, we are told that Russia attempted interference in our political system through the internet. Something should be done, but what?
