I can only speak for my own school. To quote my principal, “Guns make me nervous.” Seriously, that’s his answer. He will not even consider having access to a ranged-taser or pepper-spray. We do not even have a school cop most of time. Btw, we are an alternative school where most of our kids have broken the Law in order to be sent to us. Nice, huh? Needless to say, discipline is an absolute joke at our school.

Heck downtown here there’s a grocery store that has a security cop walking the aisles...you’d think a school would warrant that.
