I think they are rebuilding as they go. Schools were build on concrete slabs and they used to have swamp coolers. It was perfect for the desert.

The common sense approach is to deny entry. Israel is the gold standard with most things security. Check out how they dealt with school shootings.

Why don’t WE THE PEOPLE crash our reps emails and phones and DEMAND the REAL criminals who are the root course - be brought to justice? It’s NOT guns. It’s not even the shooters - swallow that one. The shooters are actually the FIRST victims....

We are all complicit - until we demand this stop.

But you evidently still don’t understand where the REAL blame lies - I’ve been writing about it for 20 years - and 99.99% of the people - like you, are STILL IGNORANT of where this all stems from. You blame everyone but the the ones whosset this all in motion....

MONEY. POWER. POLITICAL AGENDA -

WTFU. everyone.

Who’s’ Agenda?

I keep sending these to all my reps - from local to the WH - Will YOU people bother. I won’t hold my breath.

I agree he wasn’t ‘brilliant’ in his planning but he did lay out his plan of execution.

When people ask all the questions about this happening they fail to understand this was a guy who knew he wanted to kill students from that school.... His desire and thoughts about this event was long before he actually carried it out.

I find it hard to believe someone who wasn’t allowed in the school “with a backpack” hadn’t already given plenty of warning as to his intentions; not sure if anything illegal was done beforehand, but it certainly seems so.

This is from Joseph Koss at Conservative Review, and although I agree wholeheartedly with him, how do you ever get the rabid left to ever be introspective about where we are as a country and that maybe, just maybe, they’ve pushed things too far? You don’t - they’re too far gone.

Anyway, here it is:

“Someone failed the suspected shooter, Nikolas Cruz. Normally I wouldn’t name him, but this boy appears to have been broken and no one paid him much attention. He was the weirdo, the freak, the trouble-maker, and it seems that he left a trail a mile long for anyone to find that he was troubled, disturbed, and angry. No one cared. They didn’t see him has a person — they saw him as a problem.

This is not to excuse what he did. It is to explain what happened.

If we really want to stop killings — whether they are with guns, trucks, bombs, knives, or opioids — we need to see each other as human and often times broken people. If we simply blame this on guns or mental health or on anything else we are failing to prevent the next one. We don’t have a gun problem, we have a people problem — we have lost our humanity in this country and we need to get it back. Otherwise bad people like Cruz will continue to do increasingly terrible things.” - Joseph Koss

The Left would rather have many children killed by murderers with guns for talking points rather than have the poor children around scary guns in the hands of those who would protect them.

The problem with public school is that they are their own govt entity. In my state, the police cannot even enter public school grounds to make an arrest unless THEY ARE CALLED. As such, public schools think they can handle all these dangerous scenarios “in-house” and that’s why you never hear about them until they blow up and people are killed or seriously injured. This is why teachers are berated and threatened if they dare to call the police when they are assaulted themselves.

yup. A lot of kids that live nearby walk home and all start out walking down the same street at the same time. He could just as easily have driven a truck down that road and taken just as many out.

If this kid grew up in a decent family, this probably wouldn’t have happened but decent a family is out of style these days.

I agree completely. He felt this way for years. I don’t think some event “triggered” him and made him “snap” as people keep saying. He built up to this methodically.

I saw a security/terrorism expert on TV say that he could think of three ways off the top of his head to kill a large number of people without any guns. So can I and I won’t describe any of them. But even a wacked out kid could think of them without hearing it from me or some guy on TV.
