There should be at least 1 armed police officer or armed deputized civilian for every 250 students at large schools.

If a school is as big as the one in Florida (3000 students) the police department should have an on-campus satellite office.

This high school had more people there than the population of most towns in Middle America. Apparently they had one armed guard who wasn’t near the shooting at the time.

They should have had at least 5 or 6.

I would like to see a comprehensive list of everything this school has done to enhance its security since Sandy Hook.

Why does there NEED to be any such thing? Why not acknowledge EVERY Citizens inalienable Right (2nd)?? Then, any number of STAFF can arm, as they so choose.

And, last I heard\remember, the 2hr. response time? What was said guard DOING in the interim?

Sorry, no. The ‘solutions’ that exist when the Constitution is adhered, followed and enforced are *amazing*.

5-6 is a good minimum. That’d protect against preemptive strikes, sick days, and the argument that one of them might lose it.
