I'd like to see verification of that, because if true it would be unusual.

We hear all of the same arguments from both sides after every one of these shootings. But I think perhaps the most valid observation is that most mass shootings seem to occur at schools and other "gun free zones."

Every time I hear or see an anti-gunner talk about banning guns (because guns cause violence, according to them), I have one of two responses:

1) So then why don’t you see mass shootings at gun shows or police stations?

or

2) So then how does anyone get out alive from a gun show?

They never have an answer.

I was watching an interview yesterday with the Broward County school superintendent and he had mentioned it. School Resource Officers I believe he called them. They're on campus on a daily basis I think.

Vaquero posted (post 2) that Fox News reported there were two guards, on campus, but they were prohibited from being armed.

Which is it, DD?

Do you have a link/source that they were in fact armed/allowed to use their weapons?
