Kids are smart and will show the “adults” the stupidity of this regulation:
* how long will teenagers self-identify as adults and bring beer to school?
* how long before a teenager comes dressed as a six-year-old black girl and starts a race riot?
* how long before boys self-identifying as girls dominate girls sports?

And it will happen! Unintended consequences of inmates running the asylum.

Dear Fellow FReepers,

I am dismayed that most of you (in this thread) have expressed displeasure with the regulation allowing Delaware students to decide for themselves to what race they belong / as "what" they identify.

If not the students themselves - then who should make that judgement call? Some needle-nosed school official?! The school nurse? A self-appointed committee of "race experts?!" The NAACP?!

This has nothing to do with "deciding" one's gender (which shouldn't be left to the individuals - because of the abuse of that privilege by the 0.01% of our populace who "identify" as "whatever").

We FReepers should all applaud this regulation, since it will help undermine the government's attempt to intrude into such personal matters as one's individual racial make-up, by allowing everyone to tick the box marked "other," for instance.Regards,
