Rep. Adam Schiff announced Democrats will not honor President Trump’s request to revise their rebuttal to a GOP memo accusing the Justice Department and FBI of surveillance abuses.

“We’re not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we’d like to keep those to a minimum,” the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Tuesday.

Rep. Adam Schiff announced Democrats will not honor President Trump’s request to revise their rebuttal to a GOP memo accusing the Justice Department and FBI of surveillance abuses.

“We’re not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we’d like to keep those to a minimum,” the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Tuesday.

“The White House has a different interest. I think their interest is in redacting anything that doesn’t reflect well on the White House,” Schiff said.

And what is Schiff going to do about it? Hold his breath until he turns blue, and stomp his feet? He's been outplayed on this one, and is now without any credibility to do any more. The "Democrat Memo" is now simply a pile of Schiff in the dustbin of history.

If it is leaked unredacted, it will expose nothing new, but will be evidence of a felony crime against the leaker. If it is leaked in bits and pieces, there will be nothing new to make headlines, even in the Swamp. Checkmate.

Would love for POTUS to declare publicly that the memo will be released “as is” in 48 hours if the Dems do not submit a new one and that any classified information being released is on them.
