Well said. We celebrated our 59th anniversary last week. It has not always been a bed of roses, but we persevered, raised 4 kids (who are in intact marriages), and now have 12 grandchildren. We would not be able to enjoy these blessings had we given up with every little disappointment, or obstacle.
Difference is, you both had the mindset to persevere.
Most women today know divorce court is rigged for them, no negative consequences for them to dvorce. And since 70-80% of divorces are initiated by women they are the ones not persevering. These numbers only skyrocketed when no-fault divorce came about, so dot tell me they are because of domstic violence which women do plenty of.
