A reporter last night asked San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich why it’s important for the NBA to celebrate Black History Month.
Popovich isn’t one to pull any punches:
‘I think it’s pretty obvious. The league is made up of a lot of black guys. To honor that and understand it is pretty simplistic. How would you ignore that? But more importantly, we live in a racist country that hasn’t figured it out yet.’

Fast forward 150 years. We just elected a big-eared black Marxist president twice, had two black Attorney Generals, and another black Secretary of State in a previous administration. We are a nation that judges people based on the content of their character, not their skin pigmentation.

I agree with Coach that it is very important that we celebrate Black History Month.
In particular we need to focus on the history of the Democrat Party from 1860 through Reconstruction and up to the end of the Woodrow Wilson administration.
I feel guilty about being a racist, so I promise to no longer insult the NBA by consuming its product. Only pure SJW’s are allowed to be fans, so I will honor this request. :)
