Transgender people sue Alabama over driver's license policy

Three transgender people sued an Alabama state agency on Tuesday, alleging its policy requiring proof of gender surgery to change the gender indicator on driver’s licenses was discriminatory.

The lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union said the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s policy denied transgender people access to identification, and applicants were forced to release medical information to get driver’s licenses.

It is not too much to ask for proof of gender change before changing it in the government records.

There is no such thing as a "gender change." Just like there is no such thing as a "species change".

The people of the United States should not have to tolerate kooks attempting to repeal reality.

Back in the 1950s, these kooks would have been tossed into a mental hospital where they belong.

Imagine one of these cupcakes getting arrested on a DUI ,, and then suing the county because they were jailed with someone that assaulted them (successfully) because they were “pre-op”.

I’m rather certain you have a birth certificate that show sex not gender.

And without the perversion of word they use to claim being another gender/sex, what is the difference between gender and sex? Gender has been tied to sex and the characteristics/roles of that sex for longer than any of us can remember.

No it hasn’t. Gender, traditionally speaking, is a grammatical term (see Fowler’s Modern English Usage, or the older Oxford English Dictionary (I am unsure what the new edition says)). Sex is indicative of whether you are male or female.

You sex eggs, or you sex semen, you don’t gender them. Don’t let them kid you that DNA analysis is flawless and they are on the verge of isolating a homosexual gene. In criminal cases, DNA evidence is faulty many time. The services that sell DNA Ancestry etc. are very faulty and much is guess work.

The use the term gender to blur the issue. There are clearly two sexes; as they are fond of saying, it is settled science but gender is up for grabs. They want yo to confuse your use of language to confuse your thoughts. Gender is largely made up and is not to be confused with sex.
