One of the unintended consequences of the #MeToo movement seems to be the alienation of male mentors.
A new set of findings from women’s empowerment non-profit LeanIn.Org and online survey platform SurveyMonkey reveal that, since the media reports of sexual harassment first emerged last fall, male managers are three times as likely to say they are uncomfortable mentoring women and twice as uncomfortable working alone with a woman. The hesitation to meet with women outside of work is even more pronounced: Senior men were 3.5 times more likely to hesitate having a work dinner with a junior female colleague than a male one–and five times more likely to hesitate to travel for work with a junior woman.

My boss and I had this conversation yesterday. The repercussions of this stupid, short sighted, virtue signalling #MeToo nonsense is going to be devastating to professional women.
This change will also put an end to the ancient practice of sleeping your way to the top, which might do more to limit career opportunities for feminists than any amount of sexism. Probably why they are suddenly so worried about it. :)
These stupid women have put us back 60 years. Look you weaklings, if you are not smart enough to take care of yourselves you are not smart enough to be considered an equal!

I can’t believe it. I was involved in a relationship during the previous two “sexual revolutions” when everybody (except me) was getting laid practically non stop. Now I am single, and what do they come up with?
There is a simple reason why our legal system is ‘innocent until proven guilty’. The #metoo initiators want the opposite since all it is, is a place to accuse people. Then, by just accusing them, there is an expectation of mandatory punishment such as the person being fired or shunned.
There must be a push back against this basic concept. I applaud the backlash against the #metoo movement.

This is why Obama instituted a "Star Chamber" system of secret hearings on college campuses for men accused of sexual crimes against women. The refused to refer it to the police preferring to keep it in house where the accused was not allowed to defend himself.
I think this is a business opportunity. Create a business with nannies for adult working women. If a woman has to go into a meeting or dinner with the boss or supervisor, her nanny goes in as well.
Work romance, where a great many women have found their mates, will now die off.
Another casualty of the real war on women. Women lose even more.
