After the election, the spying on Trump continued. At that point, Clinton was irrelevant. The purpose was to submarine his presidency.
So Trump couldn't uncover all the shenanigans in the Obama administration. Once Trump won, they needed to cover their asses!
The weird thing about the applications for the warrant(s) is that they relied (in significant part) on the Steele “dossier” - and yet that is mostly about Trump (e.g., “golden showers”). Now either the Steele “dossier” was redacted heavily, or it was obvious to the FISC that Trump was entailed in a warrant broad enough to touch everyone Carter Page contacted.We know what wire service journalism would have said about an application for any such warrant which touched Hillary. So, up or down - did the application for the warrant mention that it would touch Trump, or not???? If so, what judge in possession of full faculties would grant it touching a major party presidential nominee - let alone an elected POTUS ? If not, withholding that “detail” was a material omission.
Presumably it was the former case, and the judge in question was way, way, way off the reservation. Just like the “MSM."
