After being married to Bill Clinton all these years, rumors have it that Hillary has become a major viewer of porn. Looking for the Energizer Bunny and other “Friends of Bill”, or that is what she claims.

Maybe Huma has joined her. After all, she has lost her “Weiner”. /sarc, or not.

It fell on my ears as a ludicrous scheme, as if they were a band of highly imaginative children planning a Brinks robbery; a lark trumped up on a snowy night amongst a group of spoiled brats over booze and hashish...

Today's Marijuana has probably overtaken 1969's Hashish in "stoning-effectiveness". :(

One of the reasons my wife and I decided back when our first child was growing up to cut the TV out totally.

No TV, no cable, not even a TV in the main room for many years. We do watch certain select movies which I preview prior to letting the family see it.

One of the reasons I despise Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame and Pocahontas.

These numbers were for the country for one year, 2015.

A little perspective:

There are roughly 300,000,000 Americans,
X 24 hours per day= 7,200,000,000 available hours per day
x365 days= 2,628,000,000,000 available hours per year

4,392,486,580/2,628,000,000,000= 1.6%

A small portion of available hours are used watching porn.

Somebody please check my math

Amen. Porn, alcohol, smoking, just a few of the many potential addictions. They hurt us spiritually and IMO it takes God’s grace to kick them for good. We have a gluttonous nature and when it comes to food it does take discipline. Once the really harmful ones get their hooks into us only God can help us. Addictions destroy us physically and spiritually.

I don’t see how there is that much money in it since it’s essentially free.

You assume that ‘all’ watch porn. Not the case. The numbers are staggering for those caught in it downward spiral.

Porn actually ‘remaps’ the brain. Proven by MRI studies. It takes over the brain and begins to control. As any addict...all that are in control of its control will deny the need.

Many studies... do a little research.... the numbers, science and ultimate damage are horrible.

I don’t doubt the destructiveness of porn. It dehumanizes all involved parties to one degree or another, destroys lives, ruins marriages, and exploits the “actors” and “actresses.”

However, viewed as a part of our entire economy, the sexual exploitation industry (porn, prostitution, etc...) is not as big as the headline implied.

“An America whose government was made to work well with bible believers fails tragically when the people are less than that.”

What’s the answer to that...and what is government’s role?

Is there a law, or a bunch of laws, that we could change to fix it?

The only thing I would want to touch at that level is things that squelch public gospel preaching, and that problem is rarer than we think. Mandatory P.C. under color of law must go.

But why does worldly government need to be our chief, let alone sole, focus?

“But why does worldly government need to be our chief, let alone sole, focus?”

That was the gist of the article. Kennedy’s failure to meet the author’s expectation. And, the general collapse of moral society.

Look at that 50 shades of gray movie. Woman were flocking to it. I read on line that sexless marriages are on the rise. I think these fantasy/porn driven society is killing relationships.
