The memo is a giant step in uncovering what appears to be an unprecedented conspiracy, but it is not the endgame. More documents, congressional hearings, investigations and criminal prosecutions are unavoidable.

Hysterical Trump haters greeted the memo’s release by declaring that we face a constitutional crisis. They are right — and they are creating it.

So true. They’re acting as though the release of the Nunes memo is the end of it. It’s just the beginning of the journey down a long, and what will often be a rocky and turbulent path to the truth!

Dowcaet, It will lead to ONE of two things.

1. Indictments and jail....leading to reform and a return to a real Republic.

2. Bellicose rhetoric and then nothing ... leading to the loss of 2018...leading to House Impeachment proceedings..... with a great likelihood of blood in the streets.

Hyperbole? You tell me.

The Constitutional crisis happened on Usurpation Day January 20, 2009.

Many crimes were committed thereafter.

What’s happening now is the struggle to restore the rule of law.

I expect to support President Trump in 2020.
Republicans in 2018? My support is contingent on their support for Trump as he drains the swamp this year. If they hold back, I’ll hold back in November.

Ha, DJT had the steele dossier pegged last October.

I swear, every one of his tweets have been spot on; the establishment media has a perfect record - wrong every time!

Yet...if we choose for any reason to ‘hold back’ in November 18..... there will not be a President Trump to support in 2020.

If we only had representatives that did everything we wanted . . we wouldn’t have to work.

From a political perspective, I recommend that you show up in public and tell them about your contingent support. You still vote for them, and then call them afterwards and keep on them. If you actually w/draw support and a democrap is elected, you will have no avenue to get anything above 0% of what you want, let alone thoughtfully heard. As another poster noted, w/o the Reps in remaining in charge after 2018, Trump has a harder road into 2020.

I’m in MA, so Elizabeth Warren is my senator. I’ve been voting for my interests and against those people for 40 years, and it hasn’t done much good. If the national party leadership can’t be bothered to vote for my interests, then I am done and I’ll just wait for the revolution.

I think based upon the evidence that had leaked out over the last few years we all strongly suspected something like this was going on. Turns out congressional investigation found evidence to prove it.

All of these people who remain need to be fired and prosicutors as a deterrents to future efforts to interfere with our elections and undermine the will of the people. It is completely unacceptable for agents of the state to uses the power of the state against competeing political interest.

The key is to primary out the weasels.
VA-7 showed everybody how it is done in 2014 when we threw out a sitting Majority Leader.
Weeding out the weasels is essential.
Voting for Bush League Republicans hell bent on surrendering the country through amnesty is not working out well.

I feel for you in MA; and with your demographics it will take either centuries or a major black swan event to possibly change things ... though you had a brief respite with Senator Scott Brown.

NC was controlled lock, stock and barrel by the Dems from Reconstruction to the late 1990s with great help from their KKK policies, political patronage and gerrymandering. However, Jesse Helms had a thick skin , knew how to relate to the people and get elected then despite that iron grip corrupt control.

I admire you dedication to stay there and vote against these people.

“What did Obama know and when did he know it?”
Dan Bongino @dbongino - This AM on twitter, seen on @LarrySchweikart our own LS.

EVERYONE should start asking that question, repeatedly.

Sean Hannity should put that at the top of his routine. As should all hosts.

This was a great column by Goodwin, thanks for posting.
