Roger L Simon: Why Did the Democrats Lie So Baldly about the Memo
pjmedia.com ^ | Roger L Simon

Posted on 02/03/2018 4:32:36 AM PST by RoosterRedux

Adam Schiff, Dianne Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, among seemingly dozens of Democrats, not to mention half the mainstream media, had been warning us for days that the release of the memo authored by Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee would place our national security at grave risk. "Sources and methods" would be revealed.

Now that we have seen the memo, it's clear that was an absolutely bald-faced lie of the most obvious sort. Nothing in it impacts national security in the slightest. There's no mention whatsoever of any "sources and methods."

Unless they were lobotomized, those Democrats and their dependable PR team (aka the media) must have realized they were blatantly lying to the American public. Evidently, they didn't care. How're we now supposed to trust what these people say about anything? Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus.

*snip*

So what was up here below the surface? It can't just be the "evil party" trying to live up to its nickname, although that certainly happened.

It seems this particular lie was a last line of defense — for now — against a coming potential Armageddon for their party. This memo, bad as it is, is apparently only the first of many, a small percentage of what is to come. And the Democrats know it.

Fear is operative. Maybe panic. An entire weltanschauung is under threat — jobs, friends, self-image, who knows what. If this goes on much longer and much more comes out, some Democrats -—not apparatchik Schiff, needless to say, but others — might have to face reality and say something. A few journalists (not at CNN, but maybe someplace else) might have to report the truth.

You've got an excellent handle on the situation, but I would suggest considering taking one extra step: what cause is so important as to discount all other considerations? To understand the answer to this question, you need to first recognize the deep hatred proglibs have for 'normal' Americans. Now, why the seething rage, the envy, the desire to place their hated enemies in a subsidiary position?

It all gets back to Marx. He correctly observed that class struggle was the core driver of social tension. Some are literally born to compete, to succeed in an open market system. Unfortunately, many others - around 50% - simply do not have the necessary physical, cognitive or social skills to be able to achieve a successful material life in a capitalist system.

It doesn't matter if you attempt to exhort them to work/try harder - the notion is rejected on its face. Recognizing this army of dissatisfied people exists is only stage one; where there's demand, there's supply. And so, we have an endless supply of proglib political leaders who either cunningly manipulate their base for political gain (Clintons) or may actually embrace the ideology itself.

Regardless, the point is it's (a) futile to argue or try to convince; and (b) it's also futile to complain about their methods. They are driven to desperation, so naturally, they will do & say anything to achieve their desired goal: to see the smug faces of white privilege shoved in the mud. Oh, how they wish to dance around cheering our fate.

So, it's not important to care about what/why proglib do what they do. Rather, it's only necessary to prevent them from achieving any kind of power & control. That's why it's incredibly naive to think that normals should abide by any constitutional provisions when we are fighting for our very lives.

That’s exactly what I’ve been pondering. Who’s to say the FISA judge doesn’t have a bias here? We may never know the answer to that one.

Perhaps it’s enough to shop a judicial clerk, if the judge is sloppy and tends to rely upon the clerk to slog through the paperwork.

The Truth is not in them. They are liars and follow the father of lies

Thanks. Not long ago there was an interview with a leader of a European gay organization and he was asked about his group’s support of Islamic organizations and political parties. It went something like this:

QUESTION: You must be aware of what Muslims do to gays in the Middle East when they achieve power - throwing gays off roof-tops, for example. Why do you guys stay aligned with them?

ANSWER: Yes, of course we’re aware of such things. But the thought of us aligning with conservatives/nationalists (and possibly pushing them into power) is just too much to bear at this time - so we’ll worry about those things later.

Makes it easier to understand the Jews in the 1930s when they sat around denying the obvious - such as many thousands of them going to the Ukraine, yet not receiving a single letter from them.
