The Deep State and FBI are in overdrive to prevent the FISA memo from being released to the public.
In a last ditch effort, the FBI is pulling out all the stops to either delay the release, delegitimize the memo or redact names from the document.
On Thursday, GOP Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) said after reading the FISA memo, it is clear the FBI will be shaken to the core. Duncan also said the memo will reveal the FBI was weaponized by Obama officials, the DNC and Hillary Clinton to target political adversaries.

It's this gross bias that I think may be the worst problem we have. If the Democrats controlled Congress, this wouldn't be referred to in the MSM as a "GOP memo", it would be (correctly) called a "Summary from the House Intelligence Committee and backed by thousands of pages of documentation."
I don’t think I have ever seen the media trying to suppress news but MSNBC seems to have a real problem with reporting this news for some reason.
My lord. This is all one big game. Every idiot with a keyboard is saying “it’s only a matter of time!” and “tick tock” and nothing ever happens. People, even if this memo comes out, nothing will happen. Some low-level people will play the scapegoats and it’ll be on to the next outrage where nothing actually happens. Do you actually think that someone with the last name Clinton or Obama or Trump or Kennedy will EVER face anything worse than what Bill Clinton faced? That man is still deified by the left. Stop waiting for the imaginary shoe to drop. All this hype is for tv ratings and internet clicks and votes and money. That’s it. Stop playing their game. Politicians and pundits are laughing at you!

I’m hoping against all hope that the memo & details can and will be used as a cudgel to put the damn dems out of business in November and beyond.

Interesting. Meaning there was no ‘green light’ before this. The Repuki party wanted the special counsel to down Trump. Now they’re scared.
They were all in on it.
Interesting speculation this afternoon on Howie Carr is that if the memo casts creditable doubt on the legality of the surveillance carried out under the FISA warrants by the FBI, this would invalidate much of the evidence used in, among other investigations, the Michael Flynn case - maybe the reason Mueller has requested Flynn’s sentencing be delayed - it would almost certainly invalidate evidence Mueller might want to use in his make-believe case against Trump....

The question IS: what are *YOU*, Congress/D.C., going to DO about it? Especially considering you just OK’d a FISA extension and already willing to throw in the towel vs. DACA (IOW: don’t expect much via a ‘budget’).

I worked with many fine FBI agents and am dismayed to see the agency dragged thru the mud. That being said, there was clearly quite a bit of rot in senior management, and the agency has a lot of work to do to ensure that it is never again used for political purposes.
It is sad that an agency which prided itself on serving the people became a political tool of Obama and Clinton. The politization of IRS and FBI is far worse than anything Nixon ever did.
Does anybody know what will happen to the information in this memo if it is released? Does the crooked FBI investigate investigate itself and then the DOJ exonerates everyone, like Comey and Lynch did for Hillary at the end of the campaign?
Or will there be a special prosecutor to look at any potential crimes?
Will individuals be identified and indicted for crimes?
Will some people need to be investigated more to have case?
In other words, how does this whole thing proceed after the memo is released? What's the next step?
Everybody will lawyer up. Some will take deals to cooperate. Others will fight it. Any suspects will be spending a lot of money to keep their tails out of jail. Some will go broke trying and give in.
Not everyone will pay for their crimes but maybe some of the worst cases can be punished.
The release of this memo is not the endgame. It's only the beginning.

When it came out that Bill Clinton met Loretta Lynch on the tarmac, it caused some major political damage. Sure, the FBI was directed by its failed leadership to focus on finding the leaker rather than treating this as a potentially criminal act of obstruction. But there was huge political fallout.
When Hillary, Holder, and Obama had scandalous actions exposed, there was fallout.
The email server being investigated in the first place was because it was exposed. And it is not over yet.
This is not a zero sum game. The scales of the balance of power can be tipped by things like this.
The FISA memo is a very big deal. If it were not, the Democrats would not being putting up such a fight.
It may or may not result in people being fired, people resigning, people going to prison. But even if NONE of these things happen, it could very well impact public opinion and affect the polls in a very important election year.
This is big.
The FBI is making the IRS look like saints.
