While I have no doubt the FBI takes it seriously (FISA warrants), there were bad actors among them that did not. They did so for political reasons pure & simple.

All government agencies have a verifiable method of communication known as a press release which has a contact name on it when issued.and that authorized name indicates that it is an official position taken by that agency.
The media is lying and propagandizing this issue .
