Birds of a feather may flock together, but United Airlines recently shot down one traveler’s request to bring her emotional support peacock on a flight departing Newark Liberty International Airport.
Live and Let Fly reported earlier this week that even though the unidentified woman claimed that she had a second ticket for the peacock, the airline denied her request.

I feel sorry that those people never matured enough to have cogent thought.
Sadly, they pass on that idiocy to their children.
And, as a very frequent hotel user, I’d be demanding a full refund.

The peacock is undoubtedly one of the LOUDEST animals on Earth. Their calls can be heard MILES away.
I’m pretty sure the ADA applies only to service animals. Service animals ALWAYS perform a task. Emotional spport isn’t a task. I think these are just the pets of nutty self centered people.
My hair stylist, 37 and unmarried, has an emotional support Shi-Tzu. She told me the last time she took her dog on an airplane, the dog took a dump on the middle seat next to her and another lady. She said both the flight attendant and the unknown lady were very sweet and understanding. I’m sure my mouth looked shocked as she told me the story. I wouldn’t have been sweet and understanding! The dog is small, so could have stayed in the carry-kennel. No Pooping On The Seats!!
They are pretty good watch dogs if you have property

If you need a peacock for emotional support, you’re too crazy to be allowed on an airplane.
When the airlines let people claim their dogs were Emotional Support Animals, the airlines opened a ‘can of worms’.

I have an attitude support honey badger, and he don’t give a sh*t.
My brother lived in a brand new house where the subdivision had been a farm. When they built all the houses they left a huge green space in the middle with an old barn......and all the peacocks. His house was the 2nd house from the green space. The peacocks would scream all night long. Sounded like they were screaming FIRE!!!!!! Lol They dug up every front yard and the plants. I got up first one morning and opened the door to get the paper. Huge peacock poo on his front doorstep. They’re pretty obnoxious.
He couldn’t take it and sold the house.
I wouldn’t want to board a plane with that thing. Maybe she can sit in cargo with it.
