Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump is proposing giving 1.8 million young undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship in exchange for $25 billion for his long-promised wall and a host of other strict immigration cuts, according to a framework proposed Thursday. The outlines of the deal were described by a White House official for staff on Capitol Hill that CNN was given access to on Thursday afternoon. In what the White House official called a "dramatic concession," Trump would accept a path to citizenship for not just those originally eligible for DACA but for a broader population, adding up to 1.8 million people, the official said.

Personally I think Trump will not agree...he knows the Dems are just using it as a wedge because George Soros told them to attach “Dacas “ to every must pass bill.

That matches what Trump said yesterday and it's why millions of us are angry today.
(So, if I rob a bank to give my kids a better life, as long as they're working and staying out of trouble for 10 to 12 years, my kids should be able to keep the money, right?!)
My only hope is that enough of us on the right AND the left will find so much to hate about this "framework" that it's D.O.A. and Trump will use the deadlock to justify enforcing the current laws.
There’s a lot more to that 10 and 12 years than you posted....they can’t simply sign up without meeting tough requirements.....
Watch the Democratis reject this proving they they don’t really care one bit about the so called plite of the ‘dreamers’.
That said if they passed this bill we would have a net drop in migration within 2 years and thereafter migration would be cut in half.
If this passed it would cut immigration rates in half because it eliminates chain migration.
This is actually brilliant.
But the Democratis are rejecting it proving they only care about massive amount of mertless immigrantion not the so called ‘dreamers’.
That puts them at odds with a super majortly of the American people. Trump simply needs to get them to show the American people this.
Yeah from what I heard Dickie Durbin already rejected it..said the usual blaa blaa blaa this rips families apart blaa blaa blaa..President Trump IS brilliant because now he can say “Hey see I tried but the other side didn’t want to meet me halfway so no DACA”

I’ve got an idea. How about an executive order saying *** the dreamers and every other illegal. And send them all the *** back. I had some modicum of pity for the dreamers once now I don’t give a ***. Plus it was stated that close to 40% of dreamers aren’t dreamers at all and are just rubber-stamped.

not so hard to get them to leave.....Mandatory E-Verify for all employers, then expand E-Verify to all landlords and anyone trying to open a bank account or credit card. and it costs less than a mass deportation!

yea , sometimes that amnesty verbage drives me crazy too. I do think he’s quite smart enough to know that with about 30 senate pro-amnesty RINO’s that nothing good can come thru the senate until most of those RINo’s are gone. Our current best case scenerio is “do nothing” and let DACA phase out as scheduled. If he can get something as the DACA deadline approaches ..fine- but only in deal for delay , if not,so what? I really think he wants to be criticized by both the left and right to enhance his image for some future effort ,,or at least i hope so ....
