SATURDAY JANUARY 27, 2018
:::8:30 a.m. Sophia spent most of yesterday sleeping but woke very early due to pain. The staff was quick to get her comfortable.
Today will be harder for her due to the swelling from surgery and anesthesia wearing off. Today will be spend resting and keeping her comfortable.
After our prayers this morning she asked if people prayed for her yesterday. I tried to explain the reaction the world has had to her prayer request but her little mind still can’t quite grasp the magnitude of her impact.
She said “Tell everyone hi and I love them.”
Your continued prayers and messages are encouraging to her and our entire family.
We understand everyone is seeking more details and updates. We will try to post more, however, like yesterday, our focus is on her recovery. When she is ready we promise to post more about when she will share details about this journey.:::
