I long for the speech that President Trump gives - SOTU? - wherein he says words to the effect:
“If you are illegally in the USA, you must leave!
If you don’t leave, when we find you (and WE WILL FIND YOU!), you will be deported!
America is a nation of laws; you have violated our law, therefore you must leave!”
Uh oh, somebody might have to check their privilege. Can’t have that. Too much mileage to be gained from playing the victim card.
Who’s the “we.” It wasn’t anything legal. If Congress passes it now it is legal.

Economically, there is nothing going on in the USA, or Switzerland, or Hong Kong that cannot be replicated in every other country in the world.

Few people realize that the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 allows an unlimited number of foreign med school graduates to apply for USA Green Cards (Legal Permanent Resident).
I don't know how many foreign doctors have accepted this open invitation, but it is surely in the hundreds of thousands (e.g., how many doctors in your HMO speak American English without an accent?).
I have often wondered how many citizens of the Third World have suffered completely unnecessary pain, disfigurement, disability, or death because their own countrymen are practicing medicine in the USA, probably for Medicaid, and quite possibly treating immigrants from their home country.

Check out the love commandments. You aren’t. Maybe not even the false witness one in that the IRS has ITINs. Not every working DACA is a SSN stealer. And others “steal” SSNs that belonged to the dead.
I understand that children have no choice but to go with their parents. But once they are eighteen, they have a choice to make. They can continue the crime taught to them by their parents, or they can make an effort to correct.

(And that’s not counting their familia and amigos.)

But if you quadruple that figure, you’re close to the actual figure of 30-40 million illegal aliens in the US.
Close approximations: the cost of the wall, 18 billion; the annual cost of illegals, 8 or 9 times that figure, or about 140 billion.
So the next time you hear, “A wall and border security is are too much money!” or one of the other embellishments and euphemisms the left loves to use, stick your oar in: “Sorry to confuse you with facts, but ...”
