MIAMI (AP) — The number of legal immigrants from Latin American nations who access public health services and enroll in federally subsidized insurance plans has dipped substantially since President Donald Trump took office, many of them fearing their information could be used to identify and deport relatives living in the U.S. illegally, according to health advocates across the country.

Cut off all welfare, healthcare and subsidies for illegal aliens. Enforce the law. Fine or criminally prosecute anyone harboring or hiring them. Dry up all their resources and prospects and they will self-deport.
Om my lawd that’s a cryin shame! A lot of Americans avoid healthcare because they’re paying $2500 a month premiums and can’t afford the $10,000 in copays.

I wondered why our local health clinic was almost empty Friday, even though we are in the midst of flu season.
Perhaps contributing to why we’re having such a nasty flu season.

Any legal immigrant who is that stupid does not deserve to stay here.
Fear of high costs make me avoid health care. Of course my high costs are a direct consequence of their lack of care about receiving free health care.
Their health care was not free, it was taken from me in higher taxation.
Doesn’t those who do sign up, have to give their (or “a”) Social Security Card as ID?
If one is here illegally and gives “a” Social Security Card as ID, using stolen ID from an American Citizen?
Aren’t all of these crimes?

So these are legal immigrants with illegal relatives. I would think, after the legal immigrants waited their turns, filled out the forms, and jumped through the hoops to be legal, only to see their relatives sneak in like thieves in the night, they would be rather unhappy and not disposed to protect those freeloaders.
I thought only citizens were supposed to get subsidies.
They’re protecting people like their granny, who has lived here illegally 40 years without bothering to learn Ingles.

THIS part of the article infuriated me:

That means the hubby is stealing a job from an American, the taxpayers are subsidizing their healthcare AND they are on welfare— yeah, just stealing the resources Americans wont I guess-this infuriates me
Isn’t too bad that the legals on Medicaid can’t get free oxycodone to sell to their illegal friends.
