An excellent counterproposal to MAGA.

Ratchet up the pressure on Schumkie.

What about McCain, Graham, and the other RINO sellouts?

What can anyone say/do to bring them in line?

It seems legit, but don’t forget about graham, the useless, dying, back stabbing jerk whose name shall not be said, Flake, Marco, and those women.

None of the Democrats will help pass this bill if their vote actually makes a difference.

“Nuclear Option” = 51% simple majority, the constitutional standard. It’s really “the Constitutional Option”, the ONLY valid option the feds have.

Why in the world is it not 51% simple majority to begin with? Answer - the Lying Leftists in BOTH parties ignore the Constitution whenever possible to the determent of We the People and our Free Constitutional Republic.

A 51% simple-majority vote before the first submission to the President is the constitutional standard and no other formula should be used.

Maybe that was the game plan all along. Trump playing “Rope-a-Dope”. A budget, that ought to shake things up a bit...

" Republicans should go to 51% (Nuclear Option) and vote on real, long term budget, no C.R.’s!"

This makes a lot of sense to me. These continuous CR's are getting tiresome.

Well, we would need to do something about Graham and Flake. Week Senate GOP leadership makes everything worse.

51% has to scare the crap out of the democrats,
as they face 7 more years of DJT.

The media is so far unsuccessful in pinning this on
the pubbies. Hopefully when the people see that
republicans CAN get something done and actually lead,
we may see midterms where the incumbent party doesn’t
lose, but gain seats!

The demorats have chosen this hill to die on,
let us help them to do so.

Actually, a shutdown is a net positive, as long as there’s no backpay.

Trump should promise to veto any backpay legislation.

Note that fed wages proportionally translate to union dues and democrat support.

It’ll also be reducing what gov sucks out of the economy, in net, and might help overcome any temporary economic decrease from bad weather (cold).

I say Trump should reverse gears and argue to keep it “shut down”.

I wouldnt go there. I think it supports the Democrats blame game. Dems can now say even Trump says the republicans can get this passed without democrat votes.

The fact the dems are doing this, supposedly, for the illegals, is turning on them... people don’t like the special attention the illegals are getting...

plus california is throwing absolutely all law and order off the cliff.... daring anyone to challenge their “right” to defy our President. I hope he sends in enough national guard to take the ones defying, in handcuffs and settle this act of trying to secede from the United States. They are protecting the illegals while putting citizens in danger.

Citizens are growing in number, that don’t like any of this. It’s feeling like an invasion and our country is no longer what it was built to be... they don’t assimilate, they want this country to be theirs.. and the leaders want their vote ... that’s all they have in common with all this illegal invasion... their votes to keep power in the hands of the evil coming in.

As Trump sees this memo and sees the guilty being taken in.. he will gain more “what it takes” to drain the damn swamp and get rid of these snakes.

Are there 51 reliable votes?

I don’t see it with McCain, Flake & Graham.
I doubt if there any Rats that will roll over.
