This is a moment made for Donald Trump.
For years, Democrats have successfully used government shutdowns to slap wimpy Republicans around and paint them as cold, ineffectual cream puffs who don’t care about the regular people who depend on a functioning government.
Remember the political theater of the 2013 government shutdown, when veterans and little kids were barricaded out of the national monuments and Nancy Pelosi was calling the Republicans legislative arsonists?
That’s not going to work with the bad hombre in the White House — he was born to brawl.

Weaponizing a government shutdown was once a reliable win for Dems but Trump threw them off their game, and soon, huddled in their trenches, they’ll realize they tossed the pin and are holding the grenade.
More despicable this time is the rats have decided that the entire American government is worth shutting down for illegal immigrants the hell with the American people, who do these a##hats work for?

Yep - President Trump thrives on overcoming adversity...threw the Dems (and GOPE/RINO)s long term game plan out the window and into the tempest that is Trump’s arena.
Not to mention the country elected Trump not Schumer. Again I say this in every thread Schumer’s just not an attractive figure to have as the face of the opposition on the shutdown for anyone outside of the media circle jerk who think he so wonderful and love him. He’s been around for decades, he represents what everyone can’t stand about DC and why Trump was elected in the first place.
Yes POTUS thrives on a fight. Even sloppy Steve’s during the 60 Minutes interview said Trump was a street brawler.

I think that things would change abruptly if the 4-page document were released to the public. Apparently it is proof of Rat criminality. IF the Rats are capable of feeling and showing the tiniest bit of humility — and that’s a big “if” — the memo’s release might take them down a peg or two.
